Jeffrey S. Black, 59, passed away peacefully on April 25th, 2018, at home with his loving wife, children, and family at his side.
He was born in Seaford, NY on August 6th, 1958, the son of Donald and Evelyn Schafer Black.
Jeffrey graduated from New Hartford Senior High School and later attended Morrisville State College.
He worked for over 30 years as the manager of Wolfe News Service in Clinton, NY.
Jeffrey married the love of his life Paula on April 23rd, 1988 and they raised 5 wonderful children together.
Jeffrey always had music in his life and playing the guitar was his passion. Many days, you could find him and Paula on his Harley Davidson or enjoying a few craft beers-- especially IPAs. He also loved The Mets, golf, Syracuse basketball, cooking and his animals. But most of all, he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife; Paula, father; Donald Black, father and mother-in-law; Frederick and Jessie Gotham, son; Ian Holmes (Victoria), daughters; Jennifer Clemente (Lucas), Carrie Pallas (David), Courtney Donnelly (Ryan), and Emily Black (Jory), brothers; Steven Black (Barbara) and Gordon Black (Tracy) his twin, grandchildren; Isabella and Violet Clemente, Hayden Jeffrey Pallas, niece/nephew; Laura and Austin Black.
He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn.
A private family service was held in honor of Jeffrey on April 28th.
