James A. Rue, Sr.

James A. Rue, age 67, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born on January 25, 1952 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of the late Vivian Rue.

James was a Weatherization Specialist for the Saratoga County EOC for many years.  James loved reading, sports and playing cards.  He cherished his time spent with his family and grandchildren. 

James is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Rue of 39 years; sons, James Rue Jr., Justin Rue (Janet); daughter, Tomica Rue; brothers, William Rue (Carol), Michael Adams, Major Adam; grandchildren, Marcus Rosario, Arianna Rue, Xavior Ramos, Devon Ramos, Jonathan Rue, Troy Rue and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Stephan Rue, Arlan Gray; sister, Carol Adams.

A funeral service will be held at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.) , Saratoga Springs, NY.  Family and friends may call from 4 pm to 5:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
