James W. Norton

James W. Norton, age 38, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

He was born on January 30, 1980 in Albany, New York, the son of James J. Norton and the late Louise A. Grahame Norton.

James graduated from Saratoga High School, class of 1998.  From an early age he loved electronics and continued that love through his work as a computer consultant at OptionSoft in Clifton Park.  James was a gamer, and he loved it.  He also had a deep love and appreciation for music, he loved to play guitar.  He was always ready to lend a hand to help people in need. He could fix just about anything. If he couldn't fix it, he would know someone who could and made sure that it got done.  James will always be remembered for his courage during difficult times

James leaves behind his father, James J. Norton; son, Gideon P. Norton (age 17); brother, Jason Norton and Jason’s wife Crystal; Aunt, Sue Finnan; Nieces, London, Chloe, and Bella Norton and many friends that will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his Mother, his Uncle Grant and his Uncle Billy.

Calling hours will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.  At the family’s request there will be no service.
