Helen Diane Carr

Helen Diane Carr, 87, of Knollwood Hollow Terrace passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Wesley Health Care Center following a period of declining health.

Born on March 27, 1931 in Edison, NJ, she was the daughter of James and Helen (Baroody) Sallitt.

Formerly a resident of Rome, NY, she moved to Saratoga Springs in 1974 and was employed as an administrative clerk with General Electric in West Milton.

She leaves behind a daughter, Diane M. Cantamessa and her fiancé Joseph Redding of Ballston Spa; a son, James Cantamessa and his wife Angela of Scotia; a grandson, James Cantamessa and his wife Amanda of Clifton Park; a sister, Sina Macak and brother-in-law, Rudy of Poughkeepsie as well as the Vanasdale Family including Elizabeth, Timothy, and William (whom she thought of as her grandchildren).

She is preceded in death by her older sister, Hazel Ventura of Miami, FL. 

At the family’s request there will be no services.
