Grace M. Koerner, age 83, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born on November 23, 1933 in Jamaica Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Francis Hammond and Carmella Santonocito Hammond.  

Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, a very caring and compassionate person, always putting the needs of others before her own.  Grace was a devote member of the Village Church of Bayville for nearly 40 years, she was a gracious and humble woman who was loved by all who met her.  She was a kind, loving and a warm person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  

She is survived by her sons Thomas Koerner (Nadia) and Michael Koerner (Irene) ; brothers, Albert Hammond (Katherine),, Joseph Hammond (Marie); sister, Frances Pinkerton; grandchildren, Thomas Jr. (TJ), Ally, Madison, Aalia, many others and many friends.   

A Celebration of Grace's Life is planned for October 14, 2017 11 am at the Village Methodist Church, 7 Mountain Ave., Bayville, NY. 11709.  All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Village Church of Bayville, 9 Mountain Ave, Bayville, NY 11709.
