Gladys Marie Parker

Gladys Marie Parker passed away on May 8, 2018 at Albany Medical center surrounded by her loved ones.  

Gladys was born February 4, 1935 and grew up in Athol, New York where she raised seven children.  Gladys was a very active member in her faith and her faith is what kept her strong till the end.     

She is survived by her six daughters, oldest, Gladys (weezie) Davis of Colorado, Debra Hemmer of Florida, Mildred Edwards of Colorado, Cathy Rebecca of Johnstown, Kim Clagg of Saratoga Springs and Lisa Parker who lived with Gladys.  Gladys is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren who she adored and cherished each one of them. Gladys also is survived by three sisters, Lila Sparks of Florida, Rosalie Carpenter of Thurman, NY and Adorna Capello of Warrensburg, NY.  

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Alfred J. Parker and her son Danny A. Parker.

The service will be held at 4:00 pm on May 13, 2018 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, Edie Rd, Wilton NY.  

We will all remember a beautiful sweet woman that left us.
