Dale R. VanAernem, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

He was born on August 19, 1958 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of the late Robert VanAernem and Joan Almy VanAernem.   

Dale was a Taxi Dispatcher for the Saratoga Taxi, which was his passion, and he expressed his joy in serving others.  He was a loving, kind and caring person always putting others first.  Dale was a very outgoing person who loved to laugh and make others laugh.  

He is survived by his wife Susan VanAernem; daughter, Sarah VanAernem; brothers, Eddie VanAernem (Marilyn), Tim Shudt (Linda); sisters, Dorothy Long, Helen Carswell (Lewis), Mary Lou McCormick (Keith), many nieces and nephews and his companion JoAnn Ruiz.

A funeral service will be held 7 pm on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.  Family and friends may call from 5 pm to 6:45 pm prior to the service.
