Timothy Scott Barber

Timothy Scott Barber, aged 64, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of his Saratoga Springs home. Born on August 20, 1959, in Saratoga Springs, NY, Timothy was the beloved son of the late Robert Barber and Kathleen Fitzgerald Barber.

For many years, Timothy dedicated himself to his work at the State Park in Saratoga Springs, finding joy in connecting with people and offering his assistance and guidance to those in need. His genuine love for people was evident to all who crossed his path. During his youth, Timothy showcased his athletic talent as a member of the Schuylerville High School basketball team, contributing to their victory in the State Class B Championship in 1978.

Timothy is fondly remembered and dearly missed by his brothers, Robert Barber and Daniel Barber (Robin); his sister, Wendy Carpenter (Mark); and numerous friends who cherished his kind and humble spirit.

As per the family's request, there will be no calling hours or formal service. The interment will be conducted privately, at the convenience of the family, at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, NY 12871.
