With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Zarro, age 60, who peacefully departed this life on Friday, March 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on June 23, 1963, in Saratoga Springs, NY, Michael was the son of the late Michael Zarro, Jr. and Carol Gleason Zarro.
Michael dedicated many years of hard work as a laborer for Local 190 in Albany, NY. He held a profound affection for his canine companions and found immense joy in their presence. His passions in life included attending concerts, particularly those of the Grateful Dead, and relishing in the company of loved ones during vacations. Above all, it was the boundless freedom of riding his motorcycle that truly ignited his soul, providing him with solace and invigorating exhilaration.
Left to honor his memory are his daughter, Kaili Sharrow (Robert Yole), and his adored grandchildren, Brayton Rock, Mason Alexander, and Gavin Locke. Additionally, Michael will be remembered fondly by his caregiver, Danielle Butler, his Faith Tabernacle Church family, numerous nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Tammy Sharrow-Zarro; daughter, Keisha Sharrow; his brother, James Zarro; and his sisters, Antoinette Pickett and Denise Zarro.
A graveside service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Friends Cemetery, located at the corner of Cronin Road and Ridge Road, Queensbury, NY, officiated by Pastor Reverend Leonard A. Oates.
