Theresa M. Brackett, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on June 28, 1940 in Amsterdam, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley Lewandowski and Regina Miller.  

Theresa was a clerk at the Southern Adirondack Library Systems for many years.  To know Theresa was to be touched by her kind loving heart and boundless energy. Her infectious love of laughter and life will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and the many people she touched throughout her life. She enjoyed camping, bingo, shopping, fishing and spending time with family.  She will be remembered for her great spirit.

Theresa is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Donald Brackett; daughters, Dawn Coonradt (John), Michele Brackett (Frank), Cheryl Bull (Keith); sons, Stanley Brackett (Maria), Scott Brackett (Marion); many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.  

She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lucille Beddig and Noreen Fraumane.

Family and friends may call on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. Schuylerville, NY.

Family and friends are welcome to join the family for further fellowship at the ITAM, 247 Grand Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866, following the graveside service.
