Serafino Zaccone, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 18, 2018. 

He was born on December 25, 1982 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Raymond Zaccone and Carmela D’ippolito Zaccone.

Serafino graduated from Gover Cleveland High School in Queens, New York, class of 2000.  Following graduation Serafino continued his education attending He attended Schenectady County Community College earning an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts. 

Serafino was a Chef and owner of Three Vines Bistro in Saratoga Springs for many years.  The food, prepared throughout the years, is as elegant as the restaurants setting.   His warmth and generosity pervades every inch of his restaurant and he loved all his customers.  In his spare time, he loved cars but he especially loved the time he spent with his family and friends

Serafino is survived by his wife, Sorange Zaccone; father and mother, Antonino and Carmela Gerato; daughter, Veronical Sofia Zaccone; brother, Mario Gerato; sisters, Annamarie Krason (Joseph), Jennifer Nikola (Alex); nieces and nephews, Jessica, Alex, Angelo, Jon Anthony, Justin, Joey, Gianna and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by Raymond Zaccone.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.

A Mass with Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Peter’s Church, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. 

Interment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 150 West Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 following the service.
