Sandra Lee Call, (Sandy), age 64, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 suddenly at home of a Massive Heart Attack.

She was born on July 1, 1952 in Schenectady, NY, the daughter of Anthony Synfelt and Arletta Perue Synfelt.            

She was a great mom to Allison, her sister Judee (sis) and a caring wife to her husband David.  She was very proud of her nieces Kelly and Brittany.

She wasn’t given a fair shot at life, since birth, but made the best world she could for herself and her family.  She was always a happy person and fun to be around, never did she complain.  Sandra always lent a hand and was a hard worker.  She loved to work and was very proud of the work she did. Lowes, Burger King and Holiday Inn Express were 3 of her employers. Sandra never asked for a handout and reluctantly accepted SSD, to help support her family.  Sandra was a great example of a good, honest, caring and hard working person.  She was the glue that held her family together.  Her greatest inspiration was caring for and the time she spent with her special needs daughter, Allison.

She is survived by her husband, David B. Call; daughter, Allison A. Call; sisters, Judith Van Patten (Michael); nieces, Kelly Wagner, Brittany Hayes (Robert); brother-in-law’s, Bruce Call, Doug Call; great-grandniece, Hannah Hayes and grand-nephews, Philip, (PJ), Zachary Wagner; Jaxson Deloreia, and Alexander Hayes.

She is preceded in death by her parent, Anthony and Arletta Synfelt.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 28, 2016 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte4 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.  Family and friends may call from 10 – 11 am prior to the service. Donations may be brought to the funeral home for her daughter Allison’s future care. 

Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205 following the service, where she will be joining her Mom in Restful Peace.
