Roger D. Tate Jr., age 52, passed away on October 8, 2016 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on August 20, 1964 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Roger D. Tate Sr and Bonnie Duhame.

Roger was a laborer in construction for many years.  He also served in the Navy from October 1989 to October 1998.  He gave much to his work, to his family and to his friends. Roger spent his days enjoying his favorite past times such as; reading, computer games, reading comics and collecting sports memorabilia. He was a huge Mets and Rangers fan.  He especially enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and he loved his garden.  Roger loved spending time with his family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly

Roger is survived by his parents, Roger D. Tate Sr. (Sue), of Jasper, GA, Bonnie Duhame; brothers, Michael McGowan (Denise) and Charles Clark of Saratoga Springs, NY; sisters, Robin Tate of Atlanta, GA, and Amber Tate of Golden Holy Springs, NC; cousins, Diane Eakins of Tybee Island, GA, Denise Davis (Shawn) of West Union, WV, Rachael Gordon and Bridget Surprenant both of Saratoga Springs, NY, and others, as well as aunts and uncles.  So many family members it is difficult to list each person individually.   

At the family’s request, there will be a private family service.
