Paul J. VanDuren Sr., age 71, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his family. 

He was born on July 3, 1946 in Albany, NY, the son of the late Maroin VanDuren and Gloria Margaret Greco VanDuren.

Paul was an avid Yankees and Giants fan who could recall every game they ever played.  He was a gifted story teller of truths, he had a wonderful but eccentric sense of humor.  He had many passions in his life, including his love for horses and the Saratoga Race Track and he truly enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. He was a loving, kind and a caring person always willing to help others.  He was a very outgoing person who loved to laugh and make others laugh.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 

Paul is survived by his sons, Paul VanDuren Jr., Robert Palmer; daughters, Kimberly VanDuren-Joubert, Crystal VanDuren; ten grandchildren and many friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, New York.

Family and friends may call from 10 am to 10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
