Marguerite Rogers, age 86, passed away comfortably and peacefully with family by her side at Wesley Health Care in Saratoga, NY on Tuesday, August 22, .2017

Born in Bennington, VT on January 17, 1931 the daughter of, Rollin and Eloise Bushee.  Marguerite later lived a full life in Cambridge, NY.

She graduated in 1949 from Cambridge High School in Cambridge, NY.  Marguerite was a member of St Patrick’s Catholic Church in Cambridge, NY.  She volunteered at Mary McClellan Hospital and cooked for the priests and their guests at the local Catholic parishes in Cambridge, NY and Hoosick Falls, NY.  She had a passion for dancing and enjoyed the dachshunds that they had as a family over the years.

Marguerite was a devoted, loving wife to her late husband, Frank Rogers, of 37 years who passed in 1988. She is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Patnode and Yvonne Tatro (Donald); her brothers, Henry Bushee (Barbara) and Eugene Bushee (Judy).   She is predeceased by her brother, Robert Bushee.

 She is also survived by her five children and their spouses/significate other:  Darlene Coppola (Piero) of Grand Isle, VT; Diane Rogers (Dave Wilcox) of Cambridge, NY; Dale Rogers (Karen) of Johnsonville, NY; Daniel Rogers (Jenny) of Cambridge, NY, and Deirdre Lane (Richard) of Salem, NY.   Her beloved  eleven grandchildren will miss her dearly;  Cinzia Coppola and Chiara Coppola; Ben Townsend and Tracey Abel; Stacy Rogers; Derek Rogers and Dylan Rogers; Angela Fallis;  Nicole Melice; Christina Lane; and Richard Lane IV.     Marguerite’s  passing  will be felt by her ten  great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews  as well as cherished friends in the community.  Marguerite loved her family dearly and will be missed forever.

There will be no calling hours.  A Mass service will be held at a later date. At the family’s convenience, there will be a private graveside burial to lay Marguerite to rest beside her husband, Frank Rogers, at St Patrick’s Cemetery in Cambridge, NY.

The family suggests memorials take the form of donations to the Cambridge Rescue Squad.
