June was an animal lover, rescuing many animals, especially cats. There was a time she was known as the “cat lady”. June had a passion for cooking and baking. Cheese cake being her specialty. She worked in the restaurant and food services all her life. June also enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She loved her time at Wesley Nursing Home, making friends other residents, and especially her roommate of several years Dorothy and nursing staff, many of them giving her the nicknames of Junie and Juniebug.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryle Deschenes Stevens (Greg); son, Albert “Bud” Deschenes (Diane); a sister Barbara Cowen Muller; grandchildren, Dawn Austin, Thomas Lundquist (Amanda), Albert (Buddy) Deschenes IV (Laurie) and Amy Sapienza (Bob); 16 great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren and one on the way, and several nieces and nephews.
