Gene Edward Weber, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on November 24, 1931 in Cambridge, NY, the son of the late Joseph P. Weber and Mary C. America Speanburg Weber.

Gene was a truck driver for the Saratoga State Park for many years.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. 

Gene enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, watching wrestling and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his son, John Weber (Alma Carr), their children, Jessica, John Jr., Brittney, Jeannine; daughter, Darlene Allen, and her children, Dean, Desiree, Darcy, and Dawn; granddaughter, Jessica Weber (Justin Rhyne); grandson, John Jr., granddaughter, Brittney Weber, her children James Roberts Jr. and Isabella Roberts; Jeannine Dalton (Sean), their children, Noah, Amiah, and Neveah; grandson, Dean Stine (Delia), and their children, James, Mary, Johnathan, Jacob, Mikayla, and granddaughter Scarlette, granddaughter, Desiree Bliss and her children, Crystal, Johanna, Ricciann, Cassie, and Matthew; granddaughter, Darcy Bliss, her children, Alexia, Timothy Jr., and Cole; granddaughter, Dawn Brady (Don), and their children, Kendra and Hannah; brothers, John, James and Paul and many friends. 

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Elizabeth Weber; brothers, Joseph, Robert, George, Harold and sister, Betty. 

Family and Friends may call on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 4 pm – 7 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY.  

A graveside service in celebration of Gene will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Gansevoort Cemetery, Gansevoort, NY with Father Marty officiating.  Family and friends may gather in celebration of Gene for further fellowship at Gene’s home following the service.
