Diana D. Krawetz, age 80, of Wilton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was also a resident of Corinth and  Troy, NY for many years.

She was the daughter of the late Wilfred Dumont and Sadie O’Brien Dumont, born on April 12, 1936 in Malone, NY.

Diana was a cashier for Price Chopper for 26 years.  She enjoyed her garden, puzzles and animals.  She loved all her dogs – Patches, Munchkin, Sid, Tiny, Toby and Nickie.  She was also a wonderful cook.  She had numerous friends from her years of employment at Price Chopper.  She was preceded in death by her lifelong friend, and honorary family member, Debbie Graefe.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on many day trips and vacations with them.  Her family loved her mischievous spirit and youthful heart.  She was loved dearly and will be missed terribly.      

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Miles, Kim Vanderwarker; grandchildren, Amber Piejko, Lance, and Jared Vanderwarker, Melanie Hall and Amanda Carlock, Treha and Ryan Downey; great-grandchild, Lucielle DiPietrantonio, Austin Hall, Tamia Buford, Kenneth Hall, Deandre Miles, Hailey Abby, Caroline Wright, and many friends whom loved her dearly. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Robbin Downey and Terry Krawetz; siblings, Carl, Norman, Carol, Beatrice, and Donald Dumont. 

A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, March 27, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. 

Family and Friends may call from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, March 26, 2017 and from 10 am to 10:45 am on Monday prior to the service at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY
