David Hunt, age 64, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 29, 1952 in Troy, NY, the son of the late Harold Hunt and Doris Belile Hunt.

David was a truck driver for WW Produce in Bellglade, FL for many years.  He always admired over-the-road driving and still found many ways to pursue his interests and hobbies despite the many weeks behind the wheel.  David was a man who gave.  He gave much to his work, to his family and to his friends.  He was a loving, kind and caring person always putting others first.  David was a very outgoing person who loved to laugh and make others laugh.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Manns Hunt; son, David Hunt, Timothy Hunt (Heather), Donald Hunt; daughters, Cheri Bradt, Wendy Schrimsher (Wayne), Melanie Lashway; brother, Harold Hunt (Lynn); eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. 

He is preceded in death by two sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, Inc, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 with Father Bob Harrison officiating.  Family and friends may call from 11 am to 1:45 pm prior to the service. 

Interment will be private on Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 69 Guide Board Road, Waterford, NY.
