Carol L. Adams passed into the hands of the Lord on February 27, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital.  She lived in Saratoga at the time of her death. 

She was born on April 10, 1962 in Saratoga Springs, the daughter of the late Major L. Adams Sr. and Vivian Rue Adams.

Carol lived in Saratoga her whole life and knew everybody.  She worked at the Saratoga Track for a few years and recently worked at Gaffney’s for the last twelve years.  She was loved by all.  Carol loved playing pool, fishing, working, playing cards, gambling, hanging with Arleen, Family, and friends.  She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.   

She is survived by her significant other Arleen Benson of Saratoga Springs, her brother William Rue (Carol) of Menands, James Rue (Carol) of Saratoga Springs, Arlen Grey of Albany, Major Adams of Saratoga Springs, Michael Adams of Saratoga Springs, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vivian Rue and Major L. Adams Sr.; and her brother Stephen Rue. 

Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.  Family and friends can call from 12 noon to 12:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Many thanks to all the nurses, doctors and anyone who helped make her comfortable in the ICU.

Interment will be at Greenridge Cemetery, Saratoga Springs, NY following the service.
