Bryan LaFreniere Jr., age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 3, 2017.

He was born on May 30, 1986 in Saratoga Springs, NY, the son of Bryan LaFreniere Sr. and Carolyn Whalen.

Bryan graduated from Galway Central School, class of 2005. 

He had a huge heart, that was full of so much love and kindness. His sense of humor was contagious, followed by a beautiful and unforgettable laugh.  Bryan loved playing music on his drums.  But he especially enjoyed listening to all genres of music, and attending every possible show.  Bryan had a smile that could light up any room, and it moved all those whose lives he touched.  He was a huge inspiration and an unforgettable soul. He was liked by all those who met him, but loved so deeply by those who knew him.  His beautiful personality and infectious spirit will be greatly missed by so many.  

Bryan is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Katherine LaFreniere whom he married on October 2, 2016; father, Bryan LaFreniere Sr.; mother, Carolyn Whalen LaFreniere; grandmother, Ruth LaFreniere; sister, Danyel Lafreniere (Daniel Becker); sister-in-laws, Lindsey Christensen (John), Elizabeth Blake (Daniel), Megan Luke (Joe), Faye Sanborn (Matthew Delucca); brother-in-law, Zachary Lane (Kamay Diaz); nieces and nephews, Madasyn and Ryley Martin, Bailey Parker, Tristen Blake, Teagan Lane, Matthew Delucca Jr. and Masen Delucca; mother-in-law, Margaret Lane (Richard Lane Jr.); father-in-law, Stan Peculis (Denise); many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless friends and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Helen Whalen; grandfather, Albert Lafreniere and uncle Robert Dillenbeck.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave. (Rte 9 and/or Marion Ave.), Saratoga Springs, NY. 

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave, Saratoga Springs, New York.
